What's the application process?
The first step to apply is to create your basic profile and upload a resume as a registrant. You can do this by clicking the register link on the main page. Please be sure to continue through the process until you receive an email message acknowledging your registration submission and containing further instructions to verify your registration on SABIS® Careers.

How do I search for a job?
The SABIS® Careers Search Jobs section features job openings at all entities within the SABIS® School Network. You may search within this section for jobs either by position or by job location.

How do I apply for a job?
From the search results list, click on the "View" link under “Position Summary” to read more about the job. To apply for an open position, click on “Apply” should you feel that your skills and qualifications provide a match with the position. If you are a new user, you will be asked to register and provide further information before proceeding. Please record your user name and password for future visits to the site. You will be asked to complete a series of items and attach your resume/CV if you have not already.

For more information about a specific location, please see their respective websites. Sometimes positions are advertised on other recruitment websites, like Monster.com and CareerBuilder. These advertisements will link you back to SABIS® Careers.

After I apply to a position will I receive a response?
Yes. You will receive an email confirming that your application has been received.

When can I expect to hear from you about my application?
If there is an interest in your application, you will most likely be contacted for an interview within 30 days of your application. We regret that we cannot contact all applicants regarding their status. You are most likely to receive a response and/or advance through the process if the position to which you apply closely matches your skills and background.

Will my resume be available to all SABIS® School Network entities?
Yes, both your registrant profile and resume will be stored in our database, and may be available to our recruiters worldwide. This practice is explained in the Privacy link located on the main page.

Am I able to update my application?
Yes, updates can be made once submitted, and you can submit application for other positions that become available on SABIS® Careers at anytime. To update a job-specific application, login and update information as necessary. If a position has already been filled or is no longer available, you will not be able to make changes to your application for that position.

Can I update my registrant profile too?
To update your general registrant profile, login and make changes. These changes will be applied to future job-specific applications, but will not appear on prior applications.

How long will my profile be kept active in SABIS® Careers?
Your registration will be kept active in the database for a minimum of one year unless you have applied for an open position. If you have applied for an open position, your registration will be kept active in the database until you are no longer being considered for an open position, are hired, and/or your status returns to registrant status.

Will I be considered for positions other than the one for which I submitted my application?
You may be considered for multiple positions depending on your prior experience and your registrant/applicant status within SABIS® Careers. Both your registrant profile and resume will be stored in our database and may be available to recruiters worldwide.

Can I submit my information without applying for a position?
If you do not want to apply for a specific job, you can still submit your resume/CV as a registrant only. It is highly recommended that when you register, you complete the full registrant profile, as this may assist recruiters match your qualifications to any future job opportunities. We also encourage you to check back often, as our position openings are updated on a regular basis. If your personal information changes or you would like to apply for more jobs, you can access your profile by logging in to SABIS® Careers with your login and password.

How do I attach a file to my registration? How do I manage that file?
You can attach a file - like a CV/resume, by clicking the "Browse" button on the registrant profile page and selecting the file you wish to attach. Once you've selected the file, click "Open" and then "Attach." You may attach up to 1 file of 4 MB. To update an attached file, attach another file and the system will replace the old file with the new file. To delete the file, simply click on the "Delete" button.

Will you notify me if there are new positions that fit my skill set?
Within your registrant profile you can designate your job preferences. Included are your preferred job location(s) as well as your other expressed specifications. After choosing your preferences, you must activate the checkbox “Recent Vacancies” indicating that you would like to receive notifications. If a newly posted position matches your designated preferences, you will be notified via email.

Can I submit my resume to a local entity that is in the SABIS® School Network?
Resumes are accepted only through SABIS® Careers and it is expected that those who are applying to open positions at any entity in the SABIS® School Network will be a registrant in SABIS® Careers. If you need assistance in registering in SABIS® Careers, you may request that assistance from a local entity. You may also request the official Application for Employment from the local entity as well.

Explaning the application workflow
Please note that applications are listed in order of priority and will be processed by our recruiters accordingly. You may alter the order of your application(s) by withdrawing and then reapplying to the position(s) in the desired order. Please note that you may not reapply more than twice to the same position. The third attempt to reapply will not be accepted by the system.
